Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 July 2026

The service

Ask The Council generates AI-written responses to questions you submit, styled as advice from historical figures. Your first session is free; additional sessions cost EUR 1.99 each, payable via Stripe. One payment unlocks exactly one additional session.

This is entertainment, not advice

The responses are AI-generated content for reflection and entertainment. They are not professional, legal, medical, financial, or psychological advice, and no advisor-client relationship is created. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Decisions you make remain your own responsibility. If you face a serious legal, medical, financial, or mental-health matter, consult a qualified professional.

Delivery and withdrawal

The service is digital content delivered immediately after payment. By purchasing, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you thereby lose your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal (Art. 16(m) EU Consumer Rights Directive) once the session has been delivered. If a paid session fails for technical reasons on our side, the credit is restored automatically or, on request, refunded.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service for unlawful purposes, do not attempt to disrupt or circumvent its operation, and do not submit content that infringes the rights of others.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care but without warranty of uninterrupted availability. Liability for slight negligence is excluded, except for personal injury and except for the breach of essential contractual duties. Mandatory consumer protection law remains unaffected.

Contact and applicable law
